Paul Anson came to Cambridge in 1992 as an engineer at Cambridge Consultants, where he formed a profitable new group developing specialist machinery. Clients included Glaxo, Merck and Bass Brewers.
In 2000 he co-founded Inca Digital Printers, backed by London VC Advent Venture Partners. As COO he grew a high value manufacturing business and global support infrastructure now employing over 150 people in the region, with Queens awards for innovation and international trade. He is one of the youngest members of Cambridge Angels, an active mentor and investor and helps young start-ups as a core team member of Qi3 Accelerator and a supporter at IdeaSpace. Paul was a trainer and mentor on the successful Understanding Finance for Business programme helping early stage companies raise finance. He has helped raise several £m’s of investment for various companies, creating many jobs.
Paul is directly involved with four start-ups – Plumis, Lintbells, Oval Medical and iSotera, and has invested in others. Most recently he has taken over as CEO of LumeJet, a photonics technology company developing products in printing and organic electronics manufacturing.
