Qi3 is delighted to become the UK representative for STI (Success Technologies International), an international licensing consortium based in the USA. STI focuses on assisting Universities across the world to commercialise their patents internationally. Many University Technology Transfer Offices lack the resources to file for international (PCT) patent protection on all of their intellectual property. STI works closely with the Universities to solve this issue. For appropriate technologies, STI will finance the international patent application and actively market licenses for it across the world. Revenues from these licenses are shared equitably between the university and STI.
Qi3 is undertaking the marketing of licenses in the UK. The first opportunity, from the Max Planck Institute and the Technical University of Munich, is a license for ‘A Method to Identify Inhibitors of Type II Isopentenyl Diphosphate:Dimethylallyl Diphosphate Isomerase for the Treatment of Gram-Positive Drug Resistant Bacterial Infections’. Interested parties should initially contact Robin Higgons at Qi3 firstname.lastname@example.org
STI is a subsidiary of DeltaTech International http://www.dtintl.com/
