Elaine was the Investment Manager at the Lachesis Fund, the £8m University Challenge Fund for the East Midlands. She worked closely with the Technology Transfer Offices of 5 Universities to identify suitable projects with commercial potential and assisted prospective applicants to formulate their business plan and investment thesis. She also mentored projects on establishment of a start up company, and helped them become “investment ready” for follow-on funding. |
